About Me

I live in Blaine with my husband (since 1985) and we have two beautiful girls, who are now grown.  We also have our four-legged friend: our dog Spunky.  He is very good with the children. 

I started caring for children as a young teen, babysitting for neighbors, and then my niece and nephew.  I worked in the church nursery and taught Sunday school for five years.  I was also a Girl Scout leader for five years.

My own children attended a daycare near our home for three years and, while we were extremely happy there, I wanted to be home with them.  I still needed to earn a living and that is why I started my business. 

I started my childcare with the thought that I would be in the business for five years.  Here I am, 17 years later, still having fun, providing a safe, loving environment for children to play, learn and have some fun!

When I am not caring for children, I enjoy scrapbooking, working on the computer, traveling, and being with friends and family.
